Symposium 2014

Opening Session of EBEN-Annual Conference 2014 in Cooperation with Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) - Germany

Symposium on Sustainable Development

12th June 2014 in Berlin

Given the enormous challenges of economic development, social inclusion and the protection of the environment and its natural resources, the necessity of a sustainable development is indisputable. Matters of ongoing discussions are, how to share and differentiate responsibilities in global partnerships, how to relate global goals to national and regional politics and how to build new forms of cooperation and collaboration across sectors. The European Business Ethics Network opened its annual conference with the "Symposium on Sustainable Development" to contribute to this process and invites the public to discuss new forms to meet these challenges with experts from politics, the civil society and the business world.
